Stock management efficiency problem

Afternoon/morning/night to all. I have an issue in which I cant seem to find any software or equipment management system for the role I’ve been given at my new job. So we’re a company that essentially takes our equpitment (fans and such) onto a job site then leaves them there for say a week and afterwards we would go back and pick up the equipment. Now that may sound simple but keeping track of say 300 fans with 10 guys running around every day dropping off equipment and tracking it, excel just doesn’t cut it. Does anyone know of a software or even an efficient way to keep track of this?

Ps. I’ve tried looking at “rental software” which is stock management of rental stuff but they’re not suited for it. Any help would really be appreciated! Thank you

If I’ve not given enough information I apologise and I’ll answer questions in the comments
