  1. Super cute!! Love the pattern! My grandma taught me when I was about 8. I started a new piece on Thursday. I haven’t worked any since my sons birth record about 5 years ago. Still have three other large WIP pieces… one of them being the one my grandma was working on when she passed away.

  2. I’m working on this pattern now! All I have left is the middle mountain but I have put it off because the size of it is so intimidating. But this has inspired me to keep going at it, I’m so close to being done! I live in Colorado and I was thinking about stitching “Colorado” at the bottom if I can figure out how to do letters lol

  3. I actually really love the simplicity of it and the colours look really nice together with the pattern. Super nice job 🙂

  4. I bet your Mom absolutely loves it for so many reasons. It’s gorgeous and I’m really enjoying thinking of the environment it was made in. Such a lovely piece.

  5. that’s awesome, great pattern. i love counted cross stitch, it’s getting harder though as i get older. have to wear some goofy lighted magnifying glasses to do it now.

  6. This is beautiful. It really is simple, but it speaks volumes! Makes me glad I live near mountains.

  7. My grandma taught me when I was about 8, and I too never really finished a project, lol. Good on you though and excellent design! You may have inspired me to try again!
