I’m new to DIY stuff. I believe the sink is porcelain or enamel(?) and the countertop is Corian.
What specific kind of caulk & tools will I need to do this in a tidy-looking way? It had molded and the old caulk was rotting so I removed it. Not sure where to start.
For reference, this is a heavily-used kitchen sink and we are in high-humidity tropical climate.
Buy caulk, cut tip, apply bead, smooth with wet finger/tool.
Use a 100% Silicone. A translucent would be the cleanest looking as you have two colours on the finishes. you could go white but you would have to mask it to have a crisp edge to the bead. You can always remove sealant while applying it is far harder to add as the previous sealant will skin over and getting rid of the seam between new and old can be challenging. If it is a complete and utter mess, wait till it dries to try again.
