Looking for Tips and Advice making handmade D&D dice with resin

Hi! New to this subreddit so bear with me please.

I’m interested in and looking into making my own D&D dice as a hobby, and possibly for gifting to friends. I plan on purchasing a set of silicone molds off Etsy, but what’s catching me is the actual resin part.

What type of resin is it best for me to use for these? I know I want a clear resin that doesn’t leave any yellowish hues when it’s set, but I’m not sure what type of resin is best. I’m not really too educated on resins bar the few Google searches I’ve done for myself, so I don’t really know the difference between the types and their different purposes.

Also some advice on alcohol inks and/or pigments to use for colouring would be super good too.

Thank you in advance!

  1. You should check out Evan & Katelyn on YouTube – they use resin in a lot of their projects and they’ve even made [resin D&D dice](https://youtu.be/5944HRod_v8)! I believe the resin and all the other material they use are listed in their video description.
