12 Months Later Still Great – Patio String Lights Review

Every time I call they say they’ll send a replacement, but after 30 days still no screw and also the light is useless. Another is still working good after four years and the brand new one hopefully will work for an additional four years. I did not try slaving it off with an additional light either. I will update this evaluation after six months use. They must be horizontal. They’re far better looking than we had, simple to install, and incredibly afforable in comparison to what you will find in the shops. But with four people in the home, who knows which mode it is in until dark! There is not much distinction between the two brightness ranges. Our light is near the top of the garage door. The only real light I could find that did not require hardwire set up by an electrician was the Cooper MS100PG. They arrived in an extremely timely fashion, of course!

In addition to having no electrical energy down where I needed to mount the lights, the whole North-facing front yard is in the shade from about October to March. I stripped one – that was irritating. The quartz-halogen bulb isn’t to be touched by bare fingers as well so using the nitrile gloves is an extremely wise decision. The sensor is placed to activate when something passes inside ten feet (maybe fifteen feet).

The price on these industrial outdoor lighting units aren’t bad either. It gets no protection from the sun and rain.

Purchased a couple of these patio string lights about six months ago, they work so great I just ordered two more.

Appears like they came off an old tugboat. I’m happy with these lights.

I looked a Home Depot, Lowes and so on. Reading one of the prior reviews I had been worried about the mounting issues he had encountered, but I bought anyway I just needed to try it myself.

I ordered two patio string lights in April 2011. I love that they’re not brass – brass doesn’t do well so near to the ocean. I needed a battery-powered light. It’s real glass, not some plastic piece. I believe their function would be to cast a soft glow, and to behave as a marker. There isn’t any on/off switch. The fixture was designed to be mounted with the integrated surface mount box. This outdoor track lighting is a great size, the actual light is the size of a quarter and incredibly bright.

A bit of the latch that holds the batteries broke before I possibly could mount the patio string lights. So, if you mount it close to some other source of light, it might be too bright to allow the patio string lights to turn on.
