Many people around like to experience new things during their lifetime since human beings do not live that long. A few individuals will have a spiritual adventure at least one time during their time here on Earth. This is something that can be planned or come quite naturally. Some time ago Hollywood touched upon this subject when they created the movie “Eat, Pray, Love.” Within this movie the lady traveled around the world to discover her true value as a person.
During the film this young woman had the chance to encounter unique individuals that helped her in many ways. She was able to find the inner peace that she desperately needed and there was a young man around to give her great love. One particular young guy residing within Manhattan decided to find out all about his relatives from the past. After collecting so much money from his job he was ready to venture on.
His parents were originally from Europe and they left this place after they were married. Once they were wed this couple decided to head to America and never return to their homeland again. Their son really wanted to know about his family tree since this had always been such a big mystery. His first stop was Ireland and he received a very warm welcome from his foreign relatives.
This young man spent several nights with new family members and they told him many stories about his parents and grandparents who were from this part of the world. This trip had turned out to be very rewarding for him since he had learned so much.
He would learn many Irish tunes from his cheerful uncle who liked to eat and drink many times during the day. This good uncle would always have a bit of whiskey in his coffee, tea or milk. It made him a more relaxed and friendly person. The aunt enjoyed cooking delicious foods. Once this fun was over he took off for Scotland.
While visiting Scotland he stayed with an uncle who was a good and jolly fellow. This man did his best to make the younger male feel right at home. He also had a very commanding voice and could play any instrument that was placed before him. Playing the bagpipes was his specialty and his nephew enjoyed hearing the wonderful sounds that came from it.
The next few days were indeed very pleasant for him and his uncle since the two men had learned so much from one another. This was one young man who was determined to find out about all of his European family members. He spent his final vacation days in London, England since this was a place that had so much to offer. Unfortunately all of his family who had once lived in this great placed had already passed away.
London was such a beautiful city that he wanted to explore even more. He found a room at one of the best hotels around and decided to take a grand tour around town. This great history lesson made him a much better human being once he returned to Manhattan.
