The chain saws have sharp cutting teeth that are used to cut the branches as slice even it can cut the entire branch. Use a safety dress at the time of working with a chain saw and don?t hold chain saw above your shoulder. It may cause severe injury to you.
3. Saw on the Pole Pole saw is a kind of pruning saw containing sharp teeth that is attached at the top of a pole. Pole saws are generally bulky and it is difficult to give a smooth cut by this tool. At the time of working with the pole saw you are bound to stand just below the branch you are going to cut. So, you have to move quickly after cutting it.
4. Hand Saws For Small Branches Hand saw is mostly used to cut small branches like 1 inch to 4 inches in diameter. You can easily use this tool in case of tiny branches. You should use a special teethed pole saw for cutting larger branches.
Your safety and climbing tools
You need a lot of practical knowledge to climb up a tree and move around it. It is a funny work too. To ensure safety arborist has to use ropes and climbing gear at the time of tree ascending. It is convenient to take a cable attachment at the time of working with a risky limbs.
You should use helmet to protect your head from any kind of injury.
You are bound to use a safety clothing as an arborist. You need to use gloves that will guard you from the injury due to cutting tools and wood splinters. As an arborist you can use a special shoes which will help you to climb up trees easily. You can take a special type of pants and some other equipments to get a higher security.
As a real arborist you have to be equipped with truck equipment for reaching at the top of the tree. This truck is known as cherry picker as it lifts up the arborist at top of the tree.
