You can visit Key West at any time of year. High season is in the drier winter months when the weather is absolutely perfect. If you’d like to avoid the crowds though, visit in summer. During this time it will be a breeze to find affordable accommodation in or around the city. Most summer days see downpours in the morning but sunny weather for the rest of the day. Just check the hurricane warnings before you go out to sea.
